Night Court

Barstow

Night Court in Barstow is held the last Thursday of the month. You may appear in Night Court for "first appearances" only for traffic infractions. Cases that require modifications or recalling warrants will not be heard during Night Court sessions. Check in begins at 4:30 pm and ends at 5:30 pm.

A drop-box is located outside the court’s lobby at the main entrance and is available for fine payments and traffic school proof of completion (check or money order).

Acceptable court attire is business or casual dress (jeans are allowed). No shorts, bathing suits or tank tops will be admitted to court.

During the months of November and December, there are often changes to this schedule, so you should call to confirm if you would like to attend Night Court in those months.

Big Bear

Night Court in Big Bear is held on the Wednesday of the first full week of each month. You may appear in Night Court for Infraction cases only. Check in time for Night Court begins at 4:00 pm and ends at 4:30 pm.

Chino

Night Court in Chino is held on the second Thursday of each month. Check in begins at 4:30 pm and ends at 6:00 pm. Courtrooms open at 5:00 pm. Night Court is specifically for first appearances only. All Infractions and misdemeanor violations of VC 14601 and VC 12500 may appear for arraignment. Cases that require modification of probation, recalling warrants or are in any way previously adjudicated will not be heard during Night Court sessions.

A drop-box is located outside the court’s lobby at the main entrance and available for fine payments and traffic school proof of completion, (West Side of the building, facing the Chino Police station).

Night Court for Joshua Tree is heard at the San Bernardino, Victorville or Barstow districts. Please check the schedule for each district’s Night Court dates and times.

San Bernardino

Night Court in San Bernardino is held the 1st and 3rd Thursday of each month. You may appear in Night Court for "first appearances" only for traffic infractions. Cases that require modifications or recalling warrants will not be heard during Night Court sessions. Check in begins at 3:30 pm and ends at 5:00 pm at the 1st floor Criminal Clerk’s Office. This office is located at 351 North Arrowhead Avenue, 1st floor of the Main Criminal/Family Law Courthouse, San Bernardino.

A drop-box is located outside the court’s lobby at the main entrance and available for fine payments and traffic school proof of completion (check or money order only).

Please bring a copy of your citation or courtesy notice with you. Due to space limitations, please do not bring children or persons not appearing in court with you.
