Needles Courthouse

Effective September 8, 2009, the Needles district will no longer handle criminal matters. General Civil, Family Law, Small Claims, Unlawful Detainer, Informal Juvenile, Traffic Infractions and case types involving other infraction charges (Code Enforcement, Fish and Game, etc.) will continue to be heard in Needles district.

Night court will be heard each month on the Monday of the first full week of each month. If that day is a holiday, it will be held on Tuesday of the first full week of the month.

Hours of Operation

The courthouse is open the first full week of each month only. The clerk’s office is open 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. the first full week of each month; the remaining weeks the clerk’s office is open Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. only excluding weekends, holidays and closure days. All criminal matters involving misdemeanor and felony charges as well as any time sensitive matters for other case types will be heard in the Barstow district.

Directions

Traveling North on I-15, exit to the I-40 east to Needles. Exit J street and turn South (right - toward Denny’s Restaurant). Continue to travel South approximately three blocks to the Needles Civic Center located on your left. The parking lot is on the south side of the facility.
